Our shaggy black, brown and yellow stripe rug is crafted by a community of Turkish weavers that Colville works closely with to promote and support ancient craft traditions. The rug is spun with soft lambswool and mohair yarns, using a special weave technique that results in a luxuriant texture in the form of a super plush pile. The entire production process, from spinning the wool to creating the patterns on handmade looms, is organic and sustainable. Yarns and fabrics are washed with organic olive soap and coloured with vegetable dyes, meaning that the whole process is 100% kind to the environment. Each piece is unique.
