This large Cabas is a pure piece of handmade craft combining Italian, French and Colombian savoir-faire, mixing traditional techniques with a vibrant modern aesthetic. The woven part of the bag is credited to the Wayuu tribeswomen of northern Colombia, with whom Colville has been working for FIVE? years, supporting their local economy and assisting in the preservation of their artistic practice. You'll see their incredible work across much of our bag category. The craftswomen use a centuries-old crocheting technique to bring to life our geometric patterns that pop against any outfit. This bag has a particularly rich heritage: it's part of a collaborative capsule collection between Colville and Parisian label AZ Factory, and has been carefully engineered to have a minimum amount of hardware. The team at AZ Factory has supplied the luxury leathers, all sourced from deadstock and each bag is assembled by hand in our Italian atelier. The bag features a removable black leather pochette for all your valuables and an extra long leather tassel which softly swishes as you move.
